Bank Robbery With A Flat Tire

Two bankrobbers rob the local bank. They then hop in their car and scurry off to their hideout 20 miles away. When they get there they realize that one of their tires had been completely flat the whole time.

How did they get to their hideout without noticing?

  1. Oh...that makes so much sense (what Fleets said). I was going to say that they were in a Flintstone-esque car, because they "scurried" off -- so, their feet were doing the tires' work and that's why they didn't notice the flat. :-P

  2. I like tabithablog's thinking! but fleets is probably right!

  3. I'm going for a spare tire or a truck with dual wheel tires and one is flat leaving 5 tires on the truck

  4. I think what they did is they hopped in their car (like literally hopped, without getting inside it). Then they scurried away (sneakily walking to their hideout).
So I guess the answer would be that they walked to their hideout, so they didn't notice the car's flat tire.

  5. The one that was flat was the spare?

  6. I'm happy because I feel I got it right with thinking it's the spare (which others said as well!). So yes, that's my answer.

  7. Adrenalin. They were so pumped after robbing the bank that they didn't notice their surroundings.

  8. Well, I figured since it said one of their tires had been flat, it doesn't say which tires. So maybe the tires are on a different car they hadn't driven, or even on a bike! Did I over think this?

  9. Their hideout was in a mobile home, and that was what had the flat tyre.

  10. The road to their hide out was so bumpy with rocks and whatever else that they didn't even notice a difference in driving because of a flat tire.

  11. Their ride was a tank...?

  12. I love some of these answers. The flat tire was the spare tire is the 'official answer,' but that doesn't necessarily make it the only one.

They could have walked back to their hideout, but then how would they have noticed the flat? (Maybe they saw it on a TV report?). Their hideout being a mobile home or bumpy roads were both good answers, but my favorite is the Fred Flintstone car!

  13. The spare tire is flat! They can't see the spare tire until they take it out of the car!

  14. Couldn't possibly be a spare because they don't know the tire is flat.
