Candy Riddle

Happy Halloween!

The word candy can be spelled using just 2 letters. Can you figure out how?

And yes, for those of you with long memories, we've seen this one before. But I like it and it's appropriate for Halloween.

Towering Office Space

Brad stared through the dirty soot-smeared window on the 62nd floor of the office tower. Overcome with depression he slid the window open and jumped through it. It was a sheer drop outside the building to the ground. Miraculously after he landed he was completely unhurt.

Since there was nothing to cushion his fall or slow his descent, how could he have survived the fall?

We Have Not Seen Any Letter Equations for a While

I was looking at my 'search query' report and noticed some people looking for answers on letter equations. So, let's see if we can help them out.

The problem is, there are some typos in the searches. So, I'm presenting all of them, even though I'm sure some of them are repeats, just with the search corrected. I can't tell in each case which one is right, so I've tried to group the possibilities together. Good luck!

1) 7 C in a M

2) I ITs N 1 T it's A
1 Is N 1 T it's A

3) S of a C

4) There are two s to E Q
T are 2 s to E Q
2 s to e q
2p in a q

5) 100 P I A R
100 P A I R

6) 39 = P of the U.S.
39 = B of the U.S.

7) 32=DF at which WF

8) 5 = GL in NA

I Need a Loan

John had only $2, but he needed $3 for his cab fare home. He went to a pawn shop and pawned his $2 for $1.50. John then bumped into Dan and told him that he would sell him his $2 pawn ticket for $1.50. Dan agreed. Since John started out with $2, and he ended up with $3, who is out the extra dollar and why?

Patience and Time

Some will use me, while others will not,
some have remembered, while others have forgot.
For profit or gain, I'm used expertly,
I can't be picked off the ground or tossed into the sea.
Only gained from patience and time,
can you unravel my rhyme?
