You can't dig half a hole.ReplyDelete
It would take 1 day. A hole is a hole, no matter how big. BUT if the person were to dig a hole have the typical size, it'd take just half the day.ReplyDelete
A hole is a hole, or, namely, a whole of a hole is a whole. Half of a whole and half of a hole, in our case of digging, are the same. It would thus take one day, as each man digs one hole a day.ReplyDelete
