Trapped Again

You're trapped in a room with no windows or doors. All there is is a table and a mirror. How do you escape the room?

This one is a bit of a trick question, just so you know.

It was asked by Ad Williams.

  1. isn't the answer to look in the mirror to see what you saw, use the saw to cut the table in half, realize two halfs make a whole and you can get out of the room through the whole...is that about right?

Look in the mirror to see what you saw
Use the saw to cut the table in half
Realize two halves make a whole
You can get out of the room through the whole

  5. Or, not a riddle of an answer, it could be this:
If there are no windows and no doors, there needs to be another way for air to get into the room. Go through the vent :)

  6. you are in an interrogation room and the window is a mirror -- use the table to break the mirror. What is this riddle answer stuff ;)

    1. If it was an interrogation room there would have to be a door.

  8. maybe it's a room like on a tv show or newsroom set: there's no ceiling. push the table to the wall and climb up and over. the mirror is actually a communicator device disguised as a make-up compact. this is used to contact the ninja turtles to come and pick you up. you are April O'Neal.

  9. Ooh, this is like one of those escape-the-room games...so first, you probably need to look underneath the table. It probably has a piece of paper stuck under it with a cryptic message. Then see if you can move the mirror; there's probably some kind of panel that you have to put the code into, which opens a previously unseen panel in the wall and reveals a screwdriver. You can use the screwdriver to unscrew the vent that you didn't notice before, and after a short labyrinth of air ducts, you're free!

    Or...what markchop said.

  17. Oh wow. I cheated and looked at the comments. There's no way I would have gotten this! My idea was to look in the mirror and see yourself outside of the room. Lol.

  18. I love Nikki's answer!! No doors or windows.. so technically you get a doorway.. just without a door on it's hinges!

  19. huh? how tricky..
I don't even know the answer, but i try to guess..
    table? mirror?
just use the table to break the mirror!!!
hahaha~ then you are free from the nightmare..
    hohoho!

  20. you cant even get into the room. im guessing you use the glass in the mirror and cut your way through.

    ReplyDelete
  21. if there are no windows or doors there must be no walls
same logic as: How do you put a giraffe in a refrigerator?
Open the door and put it in.

  22. You're not trapped at all. Just because there are no windows or doors doesn't mean that there is no entry or exit. it just means that there are no windows or doors.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Just lie, cheat and steal your way out of that room, thats how everybody else got out!!!

    ReplyDelete
  24. I've been in that room:O)

  25. If we could only bail ourselves out that easy. Things get tough we all feel trapped without windows or doors. But to see our lives as a whole instead of a piece helps us to excape. The part that was left out was the light with no switch.

  26. haha markchop's answer is brilliant

  28. 1.Let's imagine that this room is the world....Do we need to get out of it....NO...!

2.Do we know that I am alone? If there is a friend (or someone like that) would it be necessary to get out of there? Tell your secrets to each other first and then talk about your escaping....

3.Even if you are alone and there are no windows, no doors, no ...... whatever, why did you forget to take your cell phone with you to call for help.....Somebody would come and create a window or a door or ..... whatever!!!

  29. As I mentioned, this is a trick question, but markchop got it right away.

Look in the mirror to see what you saw.
Use the saw to cut the table in halves.
Put the halves together to make a whole.
Use the 'hole' to climb on out.

I thought some of the other answers were great, though. Obvious thinking outside the box (or trap)!

  30. You look in the mirror to see what you "saw", "saw" the table in half, two halves make a "hole", and climb out the hole and escape......I have seen it before which helps :-)

    ReplyDelete
  31. MY goodness that was tricky!! You go Markchop!! I would have never got that!!

    ReplyDelete
  32. That was amazing. Simply amazing.

    ReplyDelete
  33. What if you're staring into the mirror? You look away, and you're "out" of that room?

    ReplyDelete
  34. Ok, Now how do you go vertically by going horizontally without going diagnolly?

    ReplyDelete
  35. Easy, use the table to break the "double-sided" mirror...of course.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Markchop is right (1st answer). My friend asked me that question once.

    ReplyDelete
  37. It is said that the room does not have any doors or windows... does it have walls?

    ReplyDelete
  38. Throw the table thru the mirror

    ReplyDelete
  39. it says there are no windows or doors so that mus mean it is wide open! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  40. Markchop stole the answer from some other site,,,...as i said lie, cheat and steal!!

    ReplyDelete
  41. It is impossible. Being trapped in a room without windows or doors :P

To enter in a room, we need at least a window :P

    ReplyDelete
  42. I suppose that there are no roof too, so I'll up to the table and i can go out :p

    ReplyDelete
  43. Look into the mirror and see what you saw, use the saw to cut the table in half, put the two halves together to make a whole, and use that hole to escape.

It's quite hilarious to see people kill themselves when they have no sense of imagination.

    ReplyDelete
  44. follow the white rabbit !!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Well in all seriousness I would probably take the table and start attacking the walls with it...

    ReplyDelete
  46. Look in the mirror, see what you saw, take the saw, cut the table in half, two halves make a whole, climb out the hole, where's the one about the room full of bikes and no doors and a man dead in the middle, how did he die? there were also other things in there, but I forget what

    ReplyDelete
  47. Call the building contractor and have him put in the door he forgot!

    ReplyDelete
  48. look in the mirror and see what you saw.
use the saw to cut the table in half.
two halves make a whole. you get out through the hole.
