Towering Office Space

Brad stared through the dirty soot-smeared window on the 62nd floor of the office tower. Overcome with depression he slid the window open and jumped through it. It was a sheer drop outside the building to the ground. Miraculously after he landed he was completely unhurt.

Since there was nothing to cushion his fall or slow his descent, how could he have survived the fall?

  2. Soot-smeared window huh? This is going to have something to do with fire and the building being burnt down?

  3. The stories of the building were really really REALLY small.

Or, he had wings and it is the future.

    Or, God.

This one isn't good because so many answers work!

  4. Turns out Brad was the window-washer. Depressed about his job, he stepped through the window into the building and went down the elevator.

I don't think they have fire escapes on buildings that tall???

No fires that I know of, although you could argue he was caught by something (stunt man performance???)

All good answers sciencedefeated... and you're right. This is one of those questions that could be answered in multiple ways. I always like those because it gives a lot of people a chance to chime in with their answers.
