Lets End the Week With Logic

Today is Sunday, and you know what that means, chores, chores, and more chores. Sally, Jamie, and Max were given some chores. Use the following clues to find out who did what, and how long it took them.

People: Sally, Jamie, and Max

Chores: Empty the trash cans, Clean the cat litter, and vacuum

Times: 15 minutes, 30 minutes, and 45 minutes

Clues:
1) Sally cleans the cat litter.
2) Jamie's chore doesn't take 30 minutes.
3) Max doesn't vacuum.
4) Sally's chore takes 45 minutes.

4 comments:

  1. Sally cleans the cat litter for 45 minutes (that seems like a long time for cat litter...)

Max empties the trashcans for 30 minutes

and Jamie vacuums for 15 minutes.

  2. Sally cleans the cat litter for 45 minutes. (How many freakin cats do they have? Or is she just really lazy?)

Max empties the trash for 30 minutes. (Did he empty a dumpster?)

Jamie Hoovers up the dust for 15 minutes ("So called because Hoover was first in the market. Now if Gobbling had been first in the market, I'd be gobbling up the dust.").

  3. You both had it right.
    Sally - Cat litter - 45 minutes
    Jamie - Vacuum - 15 minutes
Max - Empty trash cans - 30 minutes

Personally, it takes me a lot longer than that to clean out the litter box since I avoid it for as long as I can!
