  1. 1) The Barnum’s Animal Cracker and box was introduced by the National Biscuit Company. The box, as it does today, had a string designed so that the box could be hung as a Christmas ornament.
    2) Rudolph the Red Noised Reindeer.
    3) Joel Poinsett the developer of the popular Christmas Poinesttia flower.
    4) The candy cane.
    5) Frosty the Snowman.
    6) President Teddy Roosevelt.
    7) In the 1850s Pease’s Great Variety Store in Albany sold the first machine printed Christmas cards.
