What do the following words have in common?
IRISH MASTER ROUSE
CHAMPION VIOLENT

  3. Although each one is in upper case, tom, that's not what I was looking for ;-)

    Each forms the name of a flower when one letter is removed:
    IRIS, ROSE, ASTER, CAMPION, VIOLET.
