Can you solve the sequence?

Explain why these words were put in the following sequence:

moral, friend, port, feet, race

  1. A moral (amoral)
    B friend (befriend)
    C port (seaport)
    D feet (defeat)
    E race (erase)

  2. Good job Gerald. And here I thought this would stump everyone.

By adding the sound of the first five letters of the alphabet to the beginning of each word respectively, another word can be enunciated. Note that the spelling doesn't necessarily stay the same.

    A-moral (amoral)
    B-friend (befriend)
    C-port (seaport)
    D-feet (defeat)
    E-race (erase)

  3. LOL... i dont get it. =p
