  2. If a clock takes six seconds to strike six times at six o'clock, that's 6/6 which can be converted to 1/1 then to 11/11 so yeah, 11 seconds :D

  4. The timer would naturally start with the first strike, so the chimes are not one second apart.

  5. It'll take 12 seconds. The 6 stikes are like this: "gong"...then 6 seconds for 5 more. So the 11 will be like this : "gong, then 6 seconds for 5 more and then 6 seconds for 5 additional, 12 seconds in total for 11 gongs.

  7. 1 and 1/5 second intervals between strikes. Multiplying this by 5 (not 6, since there is a strike at the very start) and you get 6 seconds (at 6 o'clock). Multiply this by 10 (not 11) and you get 12 seconds.

  9. It begins at 6:00:00.0, strikes the sixth time at 6:00:06.0, and strikes four times between those, then the time between each strike is 1.2 seconds. So, the second strike is at 6:00:01.2, then 6:00:02.4, 6:00:03.6 and then 6:00:04.8. Ergo, if each strike takes 1.2 seconds, at 11 o'clock, with the first strike at 11:00:00.0, the second will be at 11:00:01.2, and so on, nine more times (the sixth at 11:00:06.0, seventh 11:00:07.2, eighth 11:00:08.4, ninth 11:00:09.6, tenth 11:00:10.8) until the final one will be at 11:00:12.0 thus taking 12 seconds. Mind you, it's easier to work out than I've made it appear: if each strike takes 1.2 seconds, there will be ten times that, 12 seconds, between the first and eleventh strikes. The reason everyone got it wrong is that you forget the word "between", as in _between_ the first and sixth strike, it takes six seconds.
