How Good Are You at Adding

   ABCABA
   BBDCAA
   ABEABB
+ ABDBAA
--------------
AAFGBDH

Each letter represents one digit.  No two letters represent the same digit.

What's the sum equal to?

1 comment:

  1. The sum is equal to 1,158,649. To help the values of the letters are A=1, B=6, C=7, D=4, E=2, F=5, G=8, and H=9. I solved this by choosing a value for B and then figuring out what A had to be then working towards the center of the equation to figure out if that value of B worked. For most B values it was obvious.
