  2. This works in roman numerals if you 'behead' the number by removing the first digit.

    LXVIII is 68, behead it by removing the L and that leaves XVIII or 18

  3. I was beginning to think I had stumped you all when you came up with the answer reallyfatbloke. Take away L from LXVIII (68) and you end up with XVIII (18).
