MAR         DEN

  1. Is it supposed to be the SAME three-letter word in the middle of each line?

  2. Yes, the same three letter word should complete all three words on the left and begin all three words on the right.

  3. To be clear, there will be six words.
    PAR _ _ _
    HAT _ _ _
    MAR _ _ _
    _ _ _ EYE
    _ _ _ HOT
    _ _ _ DEN
The missing three letters are all the same in all six words.

  4. Well, "red" would produce "Parred", "Hatred", "Marred", "redeye", "red hot", and "redden"; but I don't know that "par" can be used as a verb, and "red hot" is two words...

  5. Ah, I was thinking it was THREE words, nine letter each. Oops...
