Drink Some Wine

A man says, "I am going to drink water because I don't have water. If I had it, I would drink wine." What does he do for a living?

  1. Is he a grape farmer in a drought?

  2. Could be any farmer who relies on water for his crops. Since he's in a drought, he probably doesn't want to spend extra on wine.

Although I do like the grape farmer answer. It puts more immediacy on the situation.
