Three Times I Asked

Three times what number is no larger than two times that same number?

  1. I'm shocked noone has left an answer yet...no math buffs out there? I'd answer it....but I'm not a math buff.

  2. The answer is 0, but then I consider myself a math buff. ;-)

  3. what about any negative number?

  4. Of course, I never considered myself to be all that good a math buff... now the greek alphabet, I can work with those.

    Good point Abe!

  5. Any number 1 or less because 1*3 = 1 and 1*2 =1
0 *3=0 0*2=0, and negative numbers get smaller when multiplied
