### Symbolism

Can you make this statement true by adding two mathematic symbols?
25-9=2

1. 2 PLUS 5 - 9 = NEGATIVE 2

2. Put a square root symbol over the 25 and the 9

3. 2 + 5 - 9 = - 2

OR

SqRt(25) - SqRt(9) = 2

my bro got the second answer...
so what is it? both?

4. SqRt(25-9) = (2)Power(2)

put a Square Root over 25-9
and put a power 2 over the 2

5. So i got 3 answers...which is it lol?

6. btw...mike..did you have all 3 in mind when you posted this question?

7. i got a 4th one..

put a Square Root over 25-9
put another Square Root over the first Square Root

8. Joanne, I was looking for just one answer, but I love it when more than one comes up!

Specifically, I was thinking of square roots over both numbers.
