I Can Feel the Weekend Coming On
I am a path situated between high natural masses. Remove my first letter and you have a path situated between man-made masses. What am I?

VALLEY/ALLEY seems like it might be the right answer.
ReplyDeleteTRAIL/RAIL (as in "railroad") actually works fairly well (if the "mad-made masses" are cities), but I'm sure it's not the answer we're looking for.

I was going for valley/alley, just as oudeis says. Trail and rail are good answers, too. Not something I had thought of, but that's good.
