Harder Than The Moon or Shadow

Weight in my belly,
Trees on my back,
Nails in my ribs,
Feet I do lack.

  1. I'm thinking a ship too. The weight in the belly is the cargo or ballast, the trees are masts. Ships have ribs as part of their framework (and presumably nails are involved there) and it wouldn't have feet.

  2. Ship is the answer. I'm thinking these riddles are a bit harder than my normal ones. What do you think?
