The Value of Z

What is the value of Z? X, Y and Z are all positive integers between 0 and 9.

X + Y + Z = XY

  1. 2 + 3 + 1 = 6
    X + Y + Z = XY

  2. If "XY" is a two-digit number, where X is one digit, and Y is another, then I think the solution would be, 1 + 2 + 9 = 12.

  3. I understand why you would be confused by my wording and I'm sorry about that. But I did mean a two digit number, so I was looking for X + Y + Z = XY where X = 1, Y = 2 and Z = 9.
