Can You Follow This?

The more of them you take, the more you leave behind. What are they?

  1. The Lead

If you take the lead in something, you are leaving others behind to follow

  2. I was thinking of footsteps, but I can see how 'the lead' sort of works. But both parts of the sentence apply to the same thing. So, the more you take the lead, the more you leave the lead behind just doesn't cut it.

  3. To put in in the nicest terms... Bathroom breaks. =)
