Cheesy Puzzle

This is the only type of cheese that is made backwards. What kind is it? Hey, do you have a puzzle, riddle, brain teaser I haven't posted here before? Send it along and see if anyone else can answer it.

    I remember this as an old riddle. It's 'Edam cheese' which is named after a city or region in Europe ('made' backwards is 'Edam'.(Jim May)
