Not as Admired as it Used to Be
Black we are, and much admired,
Men seek for us if they’re tired.
We tire the horse, but comfort man,
Tell me this riddle if you can.
It is coal, but a horse drawn carriage is a good answer, too. And I would bet several other answers would fit this one. It's a bit vague, but then so is today's riddle.
Leave your answer or, if you want to post a question of your own, send me an e-mail. Look in the about section to find my e-mail address. If it's new, I'll post it soon.
Please don't leave spam or 'Awesome blog, come visit mine' messages. I'll delete them soon after.
coal?
ReplyDeleteA horse-drawn carriage? I seem to remember reading that the original taxis (which were just called "cabs" at the time) were black.
