The Farmer Had Hundreds

The same five letters can be anagrammed (is anagrammed a word?) into four different words that fill in the blanks in the sentence to make (somewhat) good sense.

    You ripped right through it, rohit. Acres, cares, races and scare are the answer. The paragraph sort of makes sense, right?
