    they can each be used as a noun or as a verb.

    also, the first letters are each letter of the alphabet, but I'm hoping that was supposed to be obvious.

    I always think these are going to be harder for people to solve.

    Answer: All the words can be used as both nouns and verbs and as Abe pointed out, they are in alphabetical order, but can that be considered a commonality? And is commonality a real word? ;-)
