What do the following words have in common? IRISH MASTER ROUSE CHAMPION VIOLENT

They are all written in upper case.

ReplyDeleteEach forms the name of a flower when one letter is removed:
IRIS, ROSE, ASTER, CAMPION, VIOLET.
I was going to suggest they were the name sof racehorses!
