"A" says they did not break anything and C confirms that.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15628310.post-24303753256288479282010-08-06T20:03:02.900-04:002010-08-06T20:03:02.900-04:00B broke the window, but D is lying. B said he brok...B broke the window, but D is lying. B said he broke the window and D says he didn't so since none of the other kids said they broke it it was obviously B, but D was the kid that lied. The question was to figure out who broke the window not who was lying.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15628310.post-25121607023754774502010-08-06T15:35:15.982-04:002010-08-06T15:35:15.982-04:00C did it and here is why... We know B and D is out...C did it and here is why... We know B and D is out. So what C said is "Don't be mad at A, he didn't do anything." the lie for C is "anything" A did, he played with the kids so he did something, but "didn't break a thing!" he was part of the event that caused the breakage, but he didn't throw the ball. So who was Lying only B and C and we know B didn't do it.....Ya feel me...It's all Good.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15628310.post-47909711599830858612010-08-06T09:38:21.118-04:002010-08-06T09:38:21.118-04:00The anwer is C. All you really know is the one who did ...A did it.

All you really know is the one who did it is lying.

I just wrote out the logic, but seems to me that Andrew already did. So, I'll just leave Andrews answer.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18153935609499338685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15628310.post-90154209905470403882010-08-06T03:15:17.643-04:002010-08-06T03:15:17.643-04:00I also think it's A.I also think it's A.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17552330780341024924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15628310.post-50763237845178768212010-08-05T15:48:05.467-04:002010-08-05T15:48:05.467-04:00I agree with Andrew.I agree with Andrew.Mariettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15324256293683370310noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15628310.post-2082659521229561672010-08-05T12:00:59.702-04:002010-08-05T12:00:59.702-04:00B didnt break the window obviously, cause the guy ...B didnt break the window obviously, cause the guy who did break it is lying. Which means that D is telling the truth also. Since both of these guys are telling the truth, they can't be the window breaker.

So its down to A and C. We know one of the HAS to be lying. If C is lying, then A is also lying. If A is lying, C is also lying. Therefore they are both lying. If you look at both of their statements, it is clear that A is the window breaker, and C is just a loyal friend.

A is the Perp.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15628310.post-75574176346495725572010-08-05T10:59:59.532-04:002010-08-05T10:59:59.532-04:00D broke the glass, because it is the only lie that...D broke the glass, because it is the only lie that conflicts with another lie (B says "I broke the window", but D says that B didn't do it).
