Sometimes with these problems, the wording and your understanding have to be so precise.

This question would have gone better if it had been posted in the morning, rather than the evening, don't you think?

Parrotgirl, I'm not sure how to make that work with the blog format. I've seen it done at other puzzle sites. Also, I might point out you can always come back the next day after the comments get approved.

But, I definitely know the frustration of not knowing and just wanting to see what the answer is. I do that all the time, and I can't say I'll go back the next day just to find out. But then, that's the whole point of this site, right?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18153935609499338685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15628310.post-28164926634919134732010-01-27T21:34:42.518-05:002010-01-27T21:34:42.518-05:00Mike:

One possible compromise is to have the comments be linked to another page, so that people who don't want the answers don't have to see them, and others that do want to see them can simply click the link.

Thanks for the great site!parrotgirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00586765915640309519noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15628310.post-35178019333766608422010-01-27T20:46:18.703-05:002010-01-27T20:46:18.703-05:00I read it thinking the tail was the length of the ...I read it thinking the tail was the length of the head PLUS half the length of the body. If you do it that way, the total length is 15 inches, but rereading it now, 10 is probably right.Andyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14117563810484999900noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15628310.post-62513104183446728372010-01-27T18:58:23.448-05:002010-01-27T18:58:23.448-05:0010 inches10 incheszoehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06724506510935761458noreply@blogger.com
