So Dark the Con of Man
AMON L'ISA
O, DRACONIAN DEVIL!
OH, LAME SAINT!
SO DARK THE CON OF MAN
For those of you have read the book, this won't be challenging. But I found them interesting.
The Phrase in the book is "So Dark the con OF Man" and is used properly if one renders the title of DaVinci's painting, as some do, "Madonna of the Rocks". However, Brown misuses it because the normally recognized title is "VIRGIN of the Rocks".
Leave your answer or, if you want to post a question of your own, send me an e-mail. Look in the about section to find my e-mail address. If it's new, I'll post it soon.
